The founder of Honda is Soichiro Honda who had no formal education and started his career as mechanic in garage in the age of 15 years old where he worked for 6 years. After quitting this job he went back to Tenyru which was his hometown where he started auto repair business as his own business in the age of 22 years. He manufactured piston rings and started supplying it to Toyota. Due to earthquake and US bombing, his plants at Yamashita and itawa were destroyed and he later sold his company’s remaining part to Toyota. With 12 men operating in the industry, he founded Honda Technical Research Institute in 1946. This was actually a foundation for Hero Motors. The first Honda automobile produces in 1963 which was a pickup truck named as the T369. S500 was the first car manufactured by Honda. Acura legend was one of the reasons to enter in the market of luxury cars in US.
